The best methodof assailing these large tumors is to commence the line of your incision atthe apex of the tumor, making an elliptical incision downward a sufficientdistance, so that in the enucleation and the pulling outward of the tumorthe blood-vessels may be seen and secured with hemostats before they aresevered.
