220608-N-NZ473-0096 NAVAL STATION NORFOLK (June 08, 2022) Firefighters and emergency responders assigned to Naval Station Norfolk worked alongside with Hampton Roads area fire departments, US Coast Guard members and NAVSTA Norfolk Port Operations members to extinguish a fire aboard the Spirit of Norfolk at NAVSTA Norfolk's Pier 4, June 08, 2022. The Spirit of Norfolk experienced a shipboard fire and, after safely transferring 106 passengers to another vessel, was towed to Naval Station Norfolk's Pier 4 where various entities spent 3 days extinguishing and dewatering the vessel.
