Shoppers take pictures of the decorations and hot, spiced wine cups during the annual Christmas Markets in the eastern French city of Strasbourg. The Markets are one of the oldest in Europe having been operating for over 400 years. Estimates are over two million people will visit the city durng the 2023 Yule season.
