This is the famous Double Cluster, a pair of open star clusters, in Perseus. On the left is NGC 884; on the right is NGC 869. The clusters are notable for the array of yellow supergiant stars amid the hot blue stars. The clusters are thougbt to be quite young, at millon and million years old, respectively. This is a stack of 12 x 4-minute exposures with the Canon R5 at ISO 800, on the Askar APO120 refractor with its Reducer/Flattener for Taken from home October 17, 2023, as part of testing the then new telescope. The field of view is 3° by 2°.
