The iirize train of the Inland Empire System is theShoshone Flyer, which is rim as a four-car tnaln during thegreater part of the year, except in the winter, when but three. Inland Empire Parlor Car Service—Terminal Station and General Office at Spokane. cars are needed in each train. The Shoshone Flyer leavesthe Spokane terminal every morning, at 9 oclock for CoeurdAIene, Idaho, and makes the run of 34 miles in one hourflat. It connects there at the elec-tric dock with the Red Collar Linesteamer Idaho, which crosses LakeCoeur dAIene, 22 miles to Harri-son, connecting there with the Ore-gon Railroad & Navigation train torWallace, Wardner, and the CoeurdAIene mining district. The Sho-shone Flyer is made up of twomotor coaches, each with motors of400 horsepower total capacity, anda trail coach and the parlor views of passenger equip-ments are presented. A consider-able amount of the Inland Empirerolling stock was built by The J. Company. The parlor car trains are runin either direction between Spokaneand Coeur dAIene and HaydenLake four times daily with parlorcar attached. At the present timeonly two trains in either dir
