Each olfactory uerve is broken up into numerous fasciculi, some of the largerof which are indicated by the dotted outlines. A small proportion of the fibersof the olfactory nerve (fila olfactoria) are impregnated, some of these fibersbeing scattered singly among the fasciculi of the nerve, others aggregated intomore or less definite Inuidles. The fascicle marked n. tcrmiiiaUs on the leftside is unmixed with flla olfactoria; on the right side the two fascicles sodesignated are probably of mixed character.
