The c.'uly spring and warm weather have made a strong impression on stock in gencraL Cut flowers were extremely plentiful last week. Carnations are abundant and the quality is fine at $6 per hundred. Sweet peas are better than they have been this season and are offered in any quantity at $15 per thousand. Bulbous flowers are of good quality and the large supply has been used lip at a fair price. Daffodils have flooded the market. Some are being brought in from outdoors, besides the steady flow of stock from the south. Hydrangeas made their appearance last week and rose bushes and lilacs help to decorate every store. American Beauties are plentiful and the outlook is for a large supply for Easter. Premier, Columbia and Dunlop are the best in roses. Some fine stock is offered by local growers. Owing to the warm weather, Easter lilies are more plentiful than usual. There will be a large supply of calla lilies for Easter. Various Notes. Eight representatives from Gude Bros. Co. availed themselves of the rare opportunity to see the New York flower show.
