The Norwegian Church with modern sculpture, Cardiff Bay, South Wales, UK. This modern building characterises the redevelopment of this once busy port. Cardiff Bay, also known as Tiger Bay, was once a major exporter of iron, coal and steel from the indistrialised valleys of South Wales. Over the past 20 years the whole dockland area has been revitalised and redeveloped to become what is now a major, modern centre for business, tourism and leisure. It is also the site of the National Assembly for Wales.
