The New Climbing Cucumber.â Special.âThis is indeed a novelty, and worthy the attention of every farmer and gardener. The vines are strong growing and immensely pro- ductive, it being estimated that it will yield three times more than any other variety in a given space. The cucumbers are about ten inches in length and of a beautiful green color; the flesh is firm and free from the bitter taste found in some va- rieties. It can be trained on poles, trellises, fences, or in fact any place . where a vine can be grown, and will save much valuable space in the garden. Pkt. 10c, 3 pkts. 25c, 7 pkts. 50c. Early Frame.âA grand variety for either pickling or use as cucumbers sliced. Its appearance is very handsome and therefore a great fevorite for marketing. Pkt. 5c, oz. IOC M 20c, lb. 70c. Improved Long GreenâProbably more largely grown than any other cucumber. It is of superior quality and grows to a length of from fifteen to twenty inches, although when picked early they are very valuable for pickling purposes; vines vigorous and wonderfully productive. May's Favorite Pickling.âWe have spent several years in experimenting with the pickling cucumbers, and after testing all the varieties, selected this as the best of a large collec- tion. In form it is solid and rather thick; flesh is crisp and tender. Taking all together it is about as near perfection for pickling purposes as a cucumber can be. I
