BEDDING COLEUS. COLEUS represents more colors in their variegation than any other plant. They are certainly the most popular of colorea foliage plants. Whether grown as single specimens or in masses of ribbon lines, they are equally attractive. They are of the easiest culture and adapted to our climate, flourishing in the hottest sun, as well as displaying their beautiful ct)lors in the shady corner .where Ixardly any other plant would do. Plants should be set about A foot apart, so that when the size of the bed is ascertained it is easy to figure how many plants are needed of each kind in a row. We do not advise the ordering of Coleus until after the loth of March, as they are easily chilled. We have a splendid collection of about seventy-five varieties. Many of them are seedlings, having originated with us, and are simply grand. All are good bedders and will stand the hot sun without losing their brilhant coloring. Leave the selection of varieties to us, as it is hard to describe the various tints. CALrADIUMS. FANCY-LEAYED CALADIUMS—Plants are esx)eciall7 valuable for decorating conservatories, window boxes and specimen plants. Magnificent planted in beds out- doors, nothing being more showy. The brilliant cardi- nal red, cream, pink, white and various shades of green displayed in the veinings and blot<'hes of the leaves cannot be obtained in any other class of plants. For arranging floral baskets or tableoiecorations they are quite as handsome as any flower. We have a fine collection of first-class, distinct, brilliantly marked varieties.
