When at last we reached thetimber, where the slope was more gentle, and where we could hangon to shrubs and trees in passing down a steep place, I breathedmore easily. We reached camp after an arduous days travel, happy, tired, and rich in LOOKING TOWARD THE RIM FROM HOLZINGERS BASIN, UPPER Photograph taken by Mr. J. R. White.
