Guest of honor, retired Gen. James F. Amos, 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps, addresses the attendees of the Marine Forces Reserve birthday ball at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Nov. 19, 2016. Each year, a ball is hosted to celebrate the birthday of the Corps and to remember Marines who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
