Trees, shrubs, and where conditions and facilities permit, wildflowers common to the locality are planted along the fence enclosure ofeach maintenance station as an illustration of the states desire forbeautifying the highways. 7. The trimming and pruning of trees and brush in each district arelaid out and supervised by a responsible man as instructed by thearboriculturist. 8. A section shall be selected in each district, one mile or loss inlength, representing average conditions, and as soon as practicable,treated as outlined above.
