Marjorie MacDill Breit, US journalist. Marjorie MacDill Breit (1896-1987) used her undergraduate education in science and a lifelong interest in ecology and zoology to inform her journalistic career. She worked as a staff writer for Science Service during the 1920s. Science Service was an organisation dedicated to informing the public of the latest scientific discoveries and achievements. Breit was also a freelance contributor to other publications.
