The narrow streets of the Mallorcan town of Pollença can present a daunting challenge for the inexperienced driver. Tourists with larger hire cars also face a formidable task when confronted by the towns narrow roads, close proximity to walls, parked cars and other obstructions! Many of the local cars and vans are covered in dents, scratches and scrapes - a warning as to the driving conditions in the town. Things are made slightly easier by a carefully thought out one way system.
