"Spin-the-Spin", 2014 by the artist Alice Aycock, part of "Paper Chase on Park Avenue", is seen displayed on the Park Avenue medians in New York on a Friday, March14, 2014. The exhibition consists of a maelstrom of painted aluminum (and one fiberglass) sculptures stretching between East 52nd Street and East 66th Street. The massive public art evokes the wind and is being financed by Ms. Aycock's dealer, Galerie Thomas Schulte. The Fund for Park Avenue and the NYC Parks and Recreation Dept. have been presenting public art on the medians since 1969. The storm on Park Avenue will be on view until July 20. (© Richard B.
