Provincial Reconstruction Team-Kunar engineers from Camp Wright in Asadabad stopped to check the progress and craftsmanship at the new school. The Lahor Dag school was approximately 20 percent complete, and together with the Loy Bachi school also in the Mara Wara District, represents a nearly $500,000 investment by the Kunar Provincial Government and the PRT to improve development in the region. Construction on the school began in late July.
