Other symptoms, such as swelling of theglands, soreness of the throat, falling of the hair and arthritic pains,were present in a greater or less degree. The first illustration shows a papulo-pustular eruption with anenlarged gland, near the angle of the jaw, resulting from ulceration ofthe fauces.
