Let me desciibe a visit which Mrs. Bunker and I, with our two boys,made to Inanda. We leave Amanzimtote at six oclock one morning, just as the svui is lift-ino- himself out of his bath in the ocean, and raising his head above the lowrido-e which forms the rim of his briny tub. The morning is perfect. Theoutline of the hills is as though cut by a diamond, and the light paints \v\changing colors, and in infinite detail, a scene such as no art of earth canreproduce. The four oxen are roused to a lumbering trot by the shout ofthe driver. Little naked youngsters run out dancing from the few kraals,which we pass, to see us go by. Three hours ride brings us to Isipingo,and one hour on the train to Durban. . Train time comes, and we are soon rushing toward Inanda at the tremen-dous rate of ten miles an hour. Plenty of tim
