Some evergreen branches, or a little straw or coarse haj", thrown over them when the ground begins to freeze, makes all the winter covering these plants ; Calycanthema {Cup and Saucer Canterbury Bells). This is unquestionably the finest tj-pe of this old- fasliioned and much prized garden plant. Thej' differ from the ordinarj' type in having an extra large calyx, which is of the same color as the flower, giving the appearance of a cup and saucer. They are effective either in the garden or grown in "pots for conser\-atory or table decoration. "We offer them in separate colors, as well as in mixture, viz.: PER PKT. 1735 Calycanthema Blue.
