A newshop building has just been put up whichis 170 feet wide by 525 feet long. Thetwenty-four pits in the erecting shopbay are served by a lo-ton and by a120-ton electric crane. The pits runparallel with the end walls of the build-ing. The heavy machine bay is coveredwith a lo-ton crane and the light ma-chine bay is served by air hoists, lighttravelers, etc. The shop is very similarin general layout to that of the L. M.
