Croydon, Surrey Friday 10 July 2015 Four fire engines and around 20 firefighters were called to a fire at builder's yard on Factory Lane in Croydon this afternoon The fire involved around two tonnes of loose refuse and one butane cylinder which crews cooled down. Station Manager Sally Harper who was at the scene said: "The fire was well developed when we arrived and our crews worked hard to get it quickly under control. The Brigade was called at 1335 and the fire was under control by 1450. Crews from Croydon, Norbury and Woodside fire stations attended the incident.
