A Marine monitors the effects on each target via a computer tablet as a Marine laying in the prone firing position, engages targets at an unknown distance during a live-fire point-man course aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Nov. 7, 2016. Being in the position of “point-man” means to assume the first and most exposed position during a patrol. The 15th MEU conducted this training over the course of two days to reinforce basic warfighter skills.
