Transverse, elevated, ciliated ridges are well separated; about sixteen on the carapace, of which four or five are incomplete. Marginal spines about eight, small, acute, the most anterior largest;. Rostrum moderately long, tapered, nearly smooth, acute, tri- quetral, or with a slight dorsal carina.
