He waseducated in the publicschools of that city andafterward entered he was twenty-twoyears old he entered theemploy of the Stone &Webster Engineering Cor-poration. After servingwith the company in Bostonin various capacities he wassent by Stone & Websterto Ponce, P. R., as localmanager there of the PonceRailway & Light Daly returned to the United States in May, 1905, and in August of that year hewas appointed by Stone &
