Borgo Cascino is one of the rural villages built during the Fascist era for the agrarian reform of the estate built by Mussolini which provided for the creation of villages for the agricultural use of the surrounding fields, with the hope that in the future could serve as nuclei for larger cities. These attempts, however, did not have the hoped for result and today almost all of these villages are abandoned. Borgo Cascino, dedicated to general hero of World War I, is still partially inhabited. The structure reflects the typical architecture of the time with very rigid lines that refer to the architecture of the ancient imperial Rome, the village, in fact, has a central square surrounded by buildings with porches and a church, but there is also a school rural, the post office building and the tower.
