5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Dec. 12, 2016) Marines with Tank Platoon, Battalion Landing Team 1st Bn., 4th Marines, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, play football with a local children during Exercise Alligator Dagger, Dec. 10. This interaction gave the Marines a new opportunity to interact with people from a different culture. The 11th MEU is currently supporting 5th Fleet’s mission to promote and maintain stability and security in the region.
