Thisoffer the Shah, by the advice and at therecommendation of Fatey Ali Khan, glad-ly accepted. Accordingly Nadir, in 1727,joined his forces to thofe under Fatey, towhom he feemed for fome time perfectly,-,fubmimve ; but as foon as he had got*the ear of the Shah, he confpired againftfatey, accufed him of treachery, andwith the leave of the Shah, got him mur-dered, by which he became the Shahsfole and chief general, and thereby gota body of about Sooo men under
