A little more than a year later, a Mule Deer doe (Odocoileus hemionus) is resting on the forest floor among new vegetation in the burned forest remnants of the Reynolds Creek fire, September, 2016, Glacier National Park, Montana USA, by Bruce Montagne / Dembinsky Photo Associates This fire burned 4, 800 acres along the famous Going-to-the-Sun highway inside Glacier National Park starting in July of 2015. Going-to-the-Sun highway is the most famous, best traveled road in the park by visitors every year.
