At Powell I wasfortunate enough to secure the choicestbuilding lot of the town for church pur-poses, and I have no doubt that within ayear the population will triple and landvalues correspondingly increase. Another great work of thereclamation service is thePathfinder Dam, about fiftjmiles south of Casper. Therea dam 164 feet high has beencompleted across a canonwhich makes a reservoiieighteen miles long, averag-ing six miles wide andeighty feet deep.
