FIELD OF VISION

Field of vision illustration. The eye's field of vision is divided into two halves, each perceived by different hemispheres of the brain. This is because the optic nerves partially cross, at what is known as the optic chiasm. This specific feature makes our brain much less vulnerable, since the brain can receive information from both eyes if one of the nerves is damaged.
