Lambeau Field, home to the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. The stadium opened in 1957 and is owned by the City of Green Bay and the Green Bay/Brown County Professional Football Stadium District. It was initially named City Stadium or New City Stadium but was renamed Lambeau Field in honor of the Packers' founder, player and long time head coach in 1965.
