The entrance to the village still remains shut, however, shops can be accessed by another route. An emotional Flood Update Meeting was held in the village this evening where local residents questioned Thames Water, Buckinghmshire Council, the Environment Agency and other stakeholders about the ongoing flooding nightmare. Residents told of sewage coming up their kitchen sinks, businesses suffering financial losses and the environmental impact of Thames Water sometimes pumping sewage in the River Misbourne. Residents remain very frustrated at the purported lack of a forward plan to resolve the ongoing flooding. Credit: Maureen McLean/Alamy Live News
