Matthew Daubenspeck, a native of Erie, Pa. assigned to the 624th Forward Surgical Team in Fairview, Pa., carries a log over an obstacle at the Barber Beast on the Bay on Presque Isle, on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015. The 10-mile obstacle race raised money for the Barber National Institute, an organization that provides supportive services to children and adults with disabilities.
