The cremaster ends in a pair of brownish black spines, .4 mm. long, which are recurved outwardly. Lateral thereto is a pair of short yellowish booklets. The pupa is illustrated on Plate 20. The first imago emerged March 15, 1957. Subsequent emer- gences were on March 31, May 3, 4 and 29. Numerous viable pupae on hand will probably give forth imagines in June. By comparing the differences between the eggs, and pupae of the two species herein discussed, it will be noted that there is such marked disparity in these stages as to suggest that they may not belong to the same genus. 96 I.
