Huascarán from Chopicalqui Base Camp


Brad Johnson describes to James Voortman the climbing routes on the north face of Huascarán Sur South 6,768m viewed from Chopicalqui Base Camp 4,400m. The Anqosh Face was climbed by Carlos Buhler and Sharon Wood between 24 and 29 July 1985. The lefthand (East) skyline below Huascarán Sur is the Spanish Ridge.
