HERO OF COMBAT AGAINST 35 ENEMY AIRCRAFT - Pilot Officer Neveille Frederick Duke, DFC. One day in February when leading a section of a Wing he sighted 35 enemy aircraft and, informing the Wing Leader, led his section to attack. In the ensuing combat eleven enemy fighters were destroyed, two by Pilot Officer Duke, who, by his leadership, materially contributed to the success achieved.
