A skull trophy of the Dayak, Borneo Elaborately decorated skull, the whole calotte surface entirely carved with ornaments in pierced relief. The lower jar fastened at the joint by means of a rattan netting. The whole skull coloured and patinated, some teeth are missing, some parts with small cracks, the lower jar partly replaced and repaired. Height 20 cm.
