London UK. Thursday 5th July 2012. Twelve lasers and 30 searchlights lit up the night sky, to celebrate the external completion of The Shard. It is the tallest building in Europe, a 95 story building at 1,016ft high. Coloured lasers and streams of light projected out from the Shard on London's Southbank reflecting in the River Thames on 6 July.
