Turkic stone statue, Orkhon River, Mongolia


Throughout the Orkhon River valley in central Mongolia, carved granite stones are evidence the Turkish influence in Mongolia in the middle ages. These Turkic stone men as they are called occur all throughout Mongolia, and their significance is unknown.
