Rubber sheets drying outside a house

In southern India rubber is harvested from trees and processed with chemicals to make a basic rubber product. In the first stage of production sheets of raw rubber are rolled out and cut into small sqaures. These are hung out to dry by local householders. The sheets hang on washing lines and look like normal washing.
