Ancient Egyptian stele dedicated to Horoudja baliff of the temple Ptah and the bull Apis, 643 BC, found at Serapeum of Memphis. The Louvre Museum N5417 or IM3009. Adoration scene; male (kneeling); Apis (bull, shroud, disquée horns, collar, falcon, lying on, cornice base); Isis (standing, sign of Isis, protecting); solar disk with uraeus in the hanger. Inscription: Horoudja (bailiff of the domain of Ptah); Pennebnehet (father); Penaker (mother); Psammetic i; Apis Horoudja, Son of Chedit and Servant and Prophet of Neith. Apis or Hapis was a sacred bull worshiped in the Memphis region, identified as the son of Hathor, a primary deity in the pantheon of ancient Egypt.
