Benth. Downy wood mint, pagoda plant Bléphilie ciliée. HABITAT: Open ground and thickets on limestone plains. STATUS: Rare in Canada. Possibly extirpated in Delaware; endangered in Massachusetts; threatened in Iowa; rare in Maryland, New York, and Vermont. NOTES: No supporting specimen or reference was verified for a report by Scoggan (1978-1979) of Blephilia ciliata from Walpole Island. A specimen from Walpole Island, collected by Dodge in 1902, is apparently at MICH (Gary Allen, pers. comm.) Morton 1987 t.
