Master Sgt. Bryan Jones, 729th Air Control Squadron, reads to students at Hill Field Elementary School during a Heroes Reading event, April 22, 2022. The Heroes Reading program is an annual event conducted by the Hill AFB School Liaison office in partnership with local elementary schools. The event is held each spring in conjuction with April's Month of the Military Child. This year marks a relaunch of the program after a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the month, Airmen volunteers will visit three schools and read to more than 1,400 students.
