Sainte Croix Du Verdon

Sainte Croix Du Verdon is a small village situated in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department in Southeast France. Overlooking the Lake of Sainte-Croix the village offers a small supermarket, some tourist shops, restaurants and bars. The lake was man made between 1971 and 1974 formed by the construction of a reinforced-concrete arch dam called 'Dam of Sainte-Croix. The lake offers swimming, sailing, windsurfing and various other small boats. The dam is 94 meters high meters thick at the base and 3 meters thick at the crest
