Its stiff, compact and upright habit enables it to be planted much closer than others, consequently more bushels can be raised on a given space. At the best stage on our trial grounds the past season many plants produced o\ er half a bushel of fine tomatoes. Another very desirable quality about this tomato is its ex- treme earliness. The New Dwarf Champion is a medium siz^^d tomato, just the right size for home use or market, perfectly round, smooth as an apple, grows uniform in size, and ripens evenly all over.
