Flooding Winter Storm - Fargo, N. D. , March 13, 2009 The new flood wall at Oak Grove School, created after the 1997 flood is covered with snow. After a very heavy snow fall this winter the city of Fargo braces for a flood. The Red River of the North is expected to reach 40 feet by next Saturday, March 28. Flood stage starts at 19 feet.
