Presidential hopefuls speak at a bipartisan forum hosted by the International Association of Fire Fighters

Former Senator John Edwards is seen talking with IAFF President Harold Schaitberger right as he departs after speaking at the bipartisan Presidential forum hosted by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) in Washington Wednesday March 14 2007. Edwards who often talks about his roots in the rural south frequently mentions his support of unions and references his father working in a textile mill for some 36 years. The IAFF headquartered in Washington boasts having more than 280 000 members and their support is greatly pursued by candidates in particular the democrats as the group has always leaned toward Dems. A total of 11 Presidential hopefuls spoke at the bipartisan forum hosted by the IAFF.
