53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Jasen Pask, gives a fist bump to a student at Halit Coka School, while handing out school supplies during a community outreach event, Tuesday, May 25, 2021. The opportunity to fulfill a need to local students while Florida Army National Guard Soldiers train in Albania for DEFENDER-Europe 21, was identified by the 53rd IBCT’s Civil Affairs Officer, Capt. Talal Tassi. Soldiers were able to provide soccer balls, basketballs, supplies for special needs students, and over 100 backpacks.
