Bistahieversor and Parasaurolophus dinosaurs during the Kirtland Formation.

Bistahieversor and Parasaurolophus dinosaurs during the Kirtland Formation. The Kirtland Formation was laid down about 80-75 million years ago in New Mexico. This scene might have happened around 77 million years ago. In the foreground are Pentaceratops. A medium sized ceratopsian about 18 feet long and tons. Midway back and to the left are Parasaurolophus tubicen. A fair sized Hadrosaur they might be as big as 36 feet and 5 tons. A full sized adult would prove a challenge for the local predator. Bistahieversor was a tyrannosaurid and estimated 30-33 feet and 3 tons.
